Virtual Industries Inc., a supplier of manual vacuum handling solutions, announces that it will display its Small Part Handling Kit at the upcoming SMTA Dallas Expo and Tech Forum, scheduled to take place Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at the Richardson Civic Center in Richardson (Dallas), Texas.

The Small Part Handling Kit (TV1000-SP8-BD) is for parts as small as 250 microns. This general purpose vacuum handling tool plugs directly into 110 Volt 50/60 Hz. The compact unit will handle a wide variety of optics, ball lenses and SMT parts used in the industry today.

Parts as small as 0.010" (0.25mm) are handled without damage. Vacuum tweezer eliminates lost parts associated with mechanical tweezer handling. The long-life diaphragm vacuum pump generates up to 10 inches of mercury with an open air flow of 2.3 lpm. The unit connects to ground automatically with a three-wire power cord.

Other features include: whisper-quiet operation, a push-button release vacuum pick-up handle, 5 feet of coiled vacuum hose, rubber no-skid feet, and a side mounted handle holder. The handling kit also comes complete with a set of nine vacuum tips (#VCS-9-B), and a set of eight angled SMALL PARTS tips (#VSPT-KIT-8-BD).
